From Malacca To Putrajaya

Congratulation to ALL mankind, in particular the Muslims, on this special day MAULIDUR RASUL, the birthday of Muhammad, the final Messenger of Allah, the God Almighty. Muhammad was sent by ALLAH, the God Almighty, as a blessing to all mankind.

In Malaysia, it has been a tradition, to commemorate the BIRTHDAY of the GREATEST among the Messengers of Allah, by organising processions, marches and gatherings as an EXPRESSION OF JOY AND THANKFULNESS, in rememberence of the date, which had transformed the world, from darkness to LIGHT, from the narrowness of the world to the VASTNESS of the world and the HEREAFTER, and from enslavement by fellow human-beings to the  HUMAN DIGNITY, by the Grace of ALLAH, the God Almighty.

The vanue of this year’s  National Level MAULIDUR RASUL celebrations is PUTRAJAYA, the Administrative Capital of Malaysia. It has been 10 years since ‘life began’ in Putrajaya. Besides being the EMBODIMENT of a nation on the verge of becoming a fully-developed country by the year 2020, Putrajaya is the MANIFESTATION of the SUCCESS STORY of Malaysia, and the INGENUITY of the Malays/Muslim leaders.

Putrajaya is a new MILESTONE in the world history of MALAY CIVILISATION, which dominated the Malay Archipelago since TIME IMMEMORABLE, PUNCTUATED by the famous Malay Kingdoms of Langkasuka, Srivijaya and Malacca. Despite the FALL of Malacca to the Portuguese, Dutch and British, the PROUD MALAY IDENTITY AND CIVILISATION remains and flourishes, as  part and parcel of world history of GREAT CIVILISATIONS.

It was never Melaka to Petrajaya. It was always UMNOputra Pirates that stolen the Integrity of Good Governance. Without others especially those from SABAH and Sarawak there will be no MALAYSIA today.
Don’t forget our forefathers were here earlier than UMNO and do respect our Integrity that we sincerely given to your leaders to form Malaysia.
Are you all UMNOputra a human! Or truly a Pirates?

I’m sorry if my postings did not stress the importance of Sabah and Sarawak. I agree 100% with you that without Sabah and Sarawak, the Malay States in Peninsular Malaysia would remain Persekutuan Tanah Melayu, and there would be no Malaysia.

Persekutuan Tanah Melayu became independent in 1957, 6 years before the formation of Malaya. Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore were then still British colonies. However, prior to the British, Sabah and Sarawak were territories of the Malay Sultanate of Brunei, in the same way the rest of Borneo prior to the Dutch rule.

Meaning, the whole of Persekutuan Tanah Melayu, Sabah and Sarawak were TERRITORIES under various Malay Sultanates, all were part and parcels of the Malay Archipelago.

Under the Persekutuan Tanah Melayu Constitution, there were provisions for ‘SPECIAL POSITION OF MALAYS’. But when Malaysia was formed, the provision was modified to be ‘SPECIAL POSITION OF MALAYS AND BUMIPUTRAS OF SABAH AND SARAWAK’.

If you are willing to disclose where your forefathers can from, then I would be able to tell you whether your forefathers were indeed in Malaysia before the Malays or the Bumiputras of Sabah and Sarawak.

    well said TMK …

Apart from the usual UMNO-bashing which has no relevance to the topic i can’t help but emphatize with the mental state of some . You can’t help but adduce that some have been successfully indoctrinated with “anything bad comes from UMNO and UMNO, SPRM , POLIS , bla bla bla is corrupt and all..” that they no longer are able to think upright and objectively ..the poison spread by esp the anti UMNO anti BN bloggers had seeped into this young minds ..so much so that they have adulterated thinking which is pathetic .. i do symphatize with them …it’s not their fault …but we have to keep on educating the public from being led astray by these negative elements…

we dont have to use the typical foul language as they do ..( just read and smile )for otherwise it reflects that we are in the same class.

Hence …plse keep on explaining history and your ‘warisan’ ..no matter what ..as by doing so …you are doing a good service to the nation ..I have been informed that there are students in Colleges and Universities reading ur blog as they want to get quality information …According to them they can’t refer to the m’sian insider nor m;sia today portals nor harakah as they are full of hatred and concocted lies .. These are the young and intelligent generation not susceptible to the outside influence..thse are the budding generation of the internet savyv who use logic and data to base their opinion unlike the late 1990’s who used unchecked emotions and beleived anything they were fed with ..these are the young generation who takes pride in their country and will not resort to sell off their country to outsiders in order to perpetuate their personal agendas …they are the generation which would replace us ..and they are young healthy minds which support the magical ” 1 Malaysia”.

Yes..i agree with you on the ingenuity of the Malay leaders in UMNO for transforming the country into unenviable state > The most notable contribution is the DEB policies….which had greatly transformed to a great extent the bumiputera’s impoverished background. No other country in this world could match this achievement…the social and economic engineering whilst keeping the rakyat of all races living in harmony .

What is distinctly uppermost in these leadership is the unique emotional intelligence of the UMNo and BN leaders …they don’t side with any ultra and racist communities but to bind together the various races from all ethnic baggrounds including the Kadazans etc from the East..

Nonetheless…there are more milestones which have yet to be achieved …Perjuangan Belum Selesai ..as Mahathir says.

As Malays and Bumiputeras have lacked behind for hundred of years comparative to their more economically progressive Chinese brothers ..the race needs to learn more from them ..as the later’s civilization dates back to thousand of years of well-recorded history ..The bumis need to participate actively in the essential retail businesses ..no only in small agro-based industries or food business…

The challenge is to get invloved in all other business genres..like our Chinese brothers do ….not to compete but to complement each other… I am sure that our Chinese brothers are more than willing to impart their skills and knowledge …brought down by their fore-fathers ..Lack of capital as typically excused by Bumi firms should not be the stumbling block ..The most important virtue in business is to learn and gain experience and skills …and to exercise patience and to keep on learning..there are no tricks ..no ” cepat kaya” mentality in a good business…

By doing this and freely inter-playing with the business communities not only will the bumis hasten their progress but would enhance the economic cake for everyone in the future . This will tighten further the intricately-woven unity of the various ethnic by closing up the economic gaps .

But whilst aknowledging that the current leadership have much to be thanked for laying down the conducive environment for the economy to grow and harmony to sustain on , the govt cannot rest on their laurels but to ensure that issues like corruption and poverty must be swiftly addressed and there is no pause in doing so .

Eventually ….M’sia would be acknowledged as having a great civilization in the making …and all – except for those die-hard who are bent on sowing discords in the country – would be proud that they are are part of history in making M’sia a great nation .

    Till then ..
