Kabinet Malaysia 2013-2018 – Melayu Tidak Perlu Cina Untuk Memerintah Malaysia

May 15, 2013

Hidup UMNO!!! Hidup BN!!! Hidup DS Najib!!!

PAS Was Formed To Support Datuk Onn Jaafar

September 1, 2012

While the ‘spirit of Merdeka’ is still lingering around, it would be good for the younger generation to be exposed to a small piece of history, about the history of the formation of Parti Islam Se-Malaya(Se-Malaya literally means Satu Malaya, or ‘for the whole of Malaya).

Not many, even among PAS hardcore supporters and leaders, are  aware that PAS was indirectly formed by UMNO. All because successive PAS leaders would not want their members to feel obliged to pay back anything to UMNO, and on top of that, they would not want their members to have any fraternity feelings towards UMNO.

Most Malaysians are aware that United Malays National Organisation(UMNO) was formed in 1946, with Datuk Onn Jaafar(the grandfather of DS Hishamuddin Tun Hussein, our present Menteri Dalam Negeri) as its first President. UMNO was set up to provide political vehicle to unite the Malays in their bitter opposition to the imposition of MALAYAN UNION government by the British after the Japanese surrender in 1945. The opposition by the united Malays forced the British to rescind the Malayan Union, and replaced by the PERSEKUTUAN TANAH MELAYU in 1948. In the Persekutuan Tanah Melayu agreement brokered by the British, UMNO and Raja-Raja Melayu, Persekutuan Tanah Melayu was established as a TRANSITION GOVERMENT, to prepare the Federation for full independence.

As part of his efforts to mobilise the support of the whole Malayan population on the road for full independence, Datuk Onn Jaafar decided to create a platform within UMNO, to accomodate Islamic religious scholars, more popularly known as ‘ustaz’, to join the bandwagon of UMNO. An UMNO  religious sub-committee was set up in 1950 for the purpose and was called PERSATUAN ISLAM SE-MALAYSIA, in short PAS. The religious sub-committee was headed by an Islamic scholar who was very close to Datuk Onn Jaafar, Hj Mohd. Fuad.

A year later, Datuk Onn Jaafar was persuaded by the British officials to consider opening up UMNO membership to the non-Malays. At that point in time, the non-Malays who were citizens of the country was less than 10% of the whole population, and they were mainly those who became British subjects in the straits settlements of Malacca and Penang, and were considered as ‘automatic’ citizens of Persekutuan Tanah Melayu. To the British, and possibly Datuk Onn Jaafar too, even if they were allowed to be members of UMNO, their small number would not affect the leadership of the Malays in UMNO. However, the fact was, by that time, the total number of Chinese and Indian IMMIGRANT WORKERS had already overwhelmed the number of local Malays.

Datuk Onn’s idea of opening up the membership of UMNO to non-Malays was met with OVERWHELMING OPPOSITION by the rank-and-file of UMNO, the same people who had been cherishing his leadership, both in uniting the Malays and in confronting/negotiating with the British. Being a gentleman as he had always been, Datuk Onn decided not to re-contest for the Presidency of UMNO when his tenure expired in 1951, instead declared his intention to set up a new multi-racial party, the Independence Malaya Party(IMP).

After Datuk Onn Jaafar officially launched the new  IMP, Hj Mohd Fuad, out of his support for Datuk Onn Jaafar, decided to pull out the UMNO religious sub-committee under his wing, and set up a new party called Parti Islam se-Malaya(PAS), and declared it to be ‘friendly’ to Datuk Onn’s newly formed IMP. That’s how PAS was formed….to support Datuk Onn Jaafar.

Pakatan Rakyat(PR) Gauging Dwindling Support Through BERSIH

June 27, 2011

The loose coalition of PKR, DAP and PAS, known as Pakatan Rakyat(PR), are bracing themselves for the coming General Election(GE), which many observers believe would come  early next year…or even earlier.

Since making major in-roads into Selangor, Perak, Kedah and Penang, besides retaining Kelantan, in 2008 General Elections, the loose coalition, apart from DAP, are fast losing their grounds for multiplicity of reasons. Defections by 2 PKR and 1 DAP state assemblymen in Perak  saw the fall-back of Perak State Government to the BN. This was followed by series of defections by PKR state assemblymen and MPs, and  exodus of their key leaders and members to the fold of the BN. The ‘explosive’ and ‘lawless’ PKR party elections late last year led to further EXODUS of leaders and members alike from the party…even leading to the formation of a splinter party named KITA led by Zaid Ibrahim, former party Central Committee member, and Deputy Presidential candidate.

PAS has been showing more disciplined posture, but their abandoning of their long-held ISLAMIC STATE and HUDUD LAWS objectives are subject of much debates among their rank-and-file. By opting for for ‘ala-socialist’  Negara Berkebajikan, literally means ‘Welfare State’, PAS are hopeful that they will be able to garner more support from non-Malays/non-Muslims. However PAS may have overlooked the diminishing support of Malays/Bumiputras by such moves. To certain political observers, PAS’s moves were like  ‘terdengar guruh di langit, air tempayan dicurahkan’, meaning, ‘upon listening the thunder, water in the vessel is poured out’.

Without careful preparation, its not impossible that PR’s 2008 ‘tsunamic’ gains would be turned into their  ‘catastrophic’ defeats in the coming GE.

Judging from the trends of voting among the Chinese, who makes up almost 30% of total electorates nation-wide, it is fair to conclude that it was NOT the Chinese votes which triggered major inroads by the Pakatan in Selangor, Perak, Kedah and Penang in the 2008 GE.  Since the debut of DAP in 1969,  majority of Chinese voters were known to have consistently voted for  DAP, instead of the BN-aligned MCA. Hence, DAP’s TRADITIONAL better showing in overwhelmingly Chinese urban constituencies like Bukit Bintang, Seputeh, Kepong, Ipoh, Batu Gajah etc.

Infact, it was the Indian voters who made up nearly 10% of the electorates which made the difference. Prior to 2008, over 90% of Indian voters were known to be loyal supporters of the BN. However, a few weeks before the 2008 GE, the Indians were STIRRED UP by fabricated rumours drummed up by members of the banned Hindu Rights Action Force(HINDRAF) that the Indians in the country were subjected to ETHNIC CLEANSING by UMNO elements, and that Hindu temples were demolished by UMNO elements too at a rate of one in every few days. STIRRED UP by the rumours, tens of thousands of Indians were driven to the streets of KL to air their anguish and anger. Although the rumours  were all unfounded and FABRICATED,  it was enough to sway over 90% of Indian voters against the BN in the  GE, and became the MOST SIGNIFICANT factor in the Pakatan gains.

However, TRUTH PREVAILS. Within months of the 2008 GE, the Indians came to their senses. They came to realize that there were no ethnic cleansing perpetrated againsts them, and no Hindu temples were demolished. How could such rumours be true when thousands of Indians nationals are arriving at out KLIA day-in-day-out for jobs and new opportunities. They began to realize that their long-held loyalty to the BN were compromised for a wrong cause. Both DAP and PKR did not show much appreciation for the ‘sacrifices’ of the Indians, while their leaders were marginalised in their respective  party elections. Across the spectrum,  PAS remains reluctant to accept non-Muslims as full-fledged members, despite their empty slogan of ‘PAS For All’.

With Samy Vellu’s resignation as the President of MIC, the party is on road to recovery, and will again be UMBRELLA PARTY of the Indians, besides other BN-friendly Indian-based parties like Parti Makkal Sakti, a registered breakaway of HINDRAF, and KIMMA, the Indian-Muslims-based NGO, and several others. From the results of the last few bye-elections, the trends of voting among the Indians clearly indicated that over 70% of them are back to the warm embrace of the BN, and by the coming GE, the level of support among the Indians towards the BN is expected to be back at 90% level. With the support among Malays/Bumiputras has increased to over 70%, BN is looking forward to regain most of the grounds it lost in 2008 GE.

Apart from DAP who made inroads in urban-Chinese majority areas in recent Sarawak State Elections, the future of both PKR and PAS are UNCERTAIN. They are fully aware that overwhelming majority of Malays/Bumiputras will not be fooled by them again. They are fully aware that the Indian voters have had enough of them too. As a result, both PKR and PAS are becoming more and more dependent on Chinese votes….and their leaders are seen more and more as RUNNING DOGS of DAP.

The DECLINE of PAS culminated in the election of STREET DEMONSTRATION EXPERT Mat Sabu as their Deputy President in their recently concluded General Assembly. Paradoxically, it’s widely believed that  it was Mat Sabu who first added the name ‘Al-Juburi’ to Anwar Ibrahim, while Anwar was still in UMNO. The term Anwar Al-Juburi literally means Anwar ‘the sodomiser’. To make matters worse,  Mat Sabu himself was involved in a Khalwat case in a Kota Bharu Hotel…only saved by the interference of Nik Aziz.

At the moment, both PKR and PAS are at their lowest ever level of support among the Malays/Bumiputras and Indians. Its not surprising that when the fame-seeking Ambiga initiated certain NGOs to ‘replay’ the BERSIH demonstration, both PKR and PAS are grabbing the opportunity to re-kindle their DIMMING FLAMES. To prove his WORTHINESS after being elected PAS Deputy President, Mat Sabu is reported to have pledged 300,000 participants from among PAS members for the planned BERSIH2 rally.

BERSIH2 is nothing but an exercise by both PKR and PAS to gauge how much support they have lost over the period of three over years after the 2008 GE. They most likely will be shocked by what they’ll find out…

Ethnic Integration ala-Singapore….

May 15, 2011

In my quest to understand Singapore’s electoral systems, I came across a very CUNNING piece of ‘social integration’ policy practiced in Singapore which is known as the ETHNIC QUOTA SYSTEM in housing.

On the surface, the policy appears to have good intentions, to integrate all the ethnic groups of Singapore into living together,  to avoid RACIAL ENCLAVES, and to achieve a ‘balanced ethnic mix’ in residential neighborhood and even in  blocks of residential flats. The ‘balanced ethnic mix’ is determined to reflect the composition  of Singapore population, ie. 80% Chines, 15% Malays and 5% Indians and others.

Under the policy, the allocation and sale of public housing is based on a quota system reflective of the above racial composition of Singapore population. Meaning, in every neighborhood and every block of flats, about 80% of the units should be owned or rented by the majority Chinese, 15% by the Malays and 5% by the Indian and others.

The obvious result of the ‘social integration’ policy would be to make the Chinese, the ruling race in Singapore, the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY in every neighborhood and every block of flat in Singapore. The Malays and the Indians will have to live as MINORITIES in each and every neighborhood and even every block of flat.

Unlike in other countries like the USA, Australia and Canada, which allow CONCENTRATIONS of certain minority races in certain part of a city or a town, like the CHINA TOWNS, we would not be able to find a MALAY VILLAGE or LITTLE INDIA in Singapore.

In the eye of the ruling Singapore Government, a ‘balanced ethnic mix’ is only achieved when the minority races remain MINORITY in each and every neighborhood, with the Chinese making up 80% of the residents. This is ‘social integration’ ala-Singapore.

Underlying Trends As Extracted From Galas and Batu Sapi

November 5, 2010

Congratulation to BN for the DOUBLE VICTORY in Galas and Batu Sapi. For the first time, after several years, we can congratulate MCA for their HARD WORK in winning over the Chinese voters.

Lets not spend much time on Batu Sapi in sabah. Sabah is unquestionably a BN stronghold, congratulation to UMNO Sabah, and other BN component parties. The fact that PKR, which represented PKR-DAP-PAS yet to be officially registered coalition, won less than 30% of the votes is enough testimony of BN standing in Sabah.

Accross the South China Sea, Galas bye-election results have thrown some light s as to the underlying trend in the West Malaysia(formerly Persekutuan Tanah Melayu) political landscape.

As PAS admitted, there have been about 9% swing among Orang Asli votes, and 7% swing of Malay votes, towards the BN. And as analysed the MCA President, BN won by 200 votes majority among the Chinese voters.

The positive trend for BN is the indications that more and more Chinese voters are BACK TO THEIR SENSES, after being TEMPTED by Anwar and Lim Kit Siang to turn their back on the BN in the 2008 General Election. With the support of the Indians towards the BN RESTORED almost to the old-time level, the Chinese voters who are not yet back to their senses should seriously RE-CONSIDER THEIR POLITICAL GAMBLE.

With matters like Articles 153 of the Constitution considered RESOLVED after the recently-concluded UMNO General Assembly, UMNO and BN component parties should no longer be bogged down by the pre-independent SOCIAL CONTRACT.

Instead, all efforts must be focussed on the ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMMES which will increase the ECONOMIC CAKE of the country, to be enjoyed by all.

Malaysia has been a land of PEACE, STABILITY and PROSPERITY. Let not be FOOLED by desperado politicians, who survive on STIRRING UP crisis and chaos.

MALAYS, The Modern ORANG ASLI of Tanah Melayu

July 25, 2010

In their effort to question the SPECIAL POSITION OF MALAYS/BUMIPUTRAS as allowed for in our country’s Constitution, certain UNGRATEFUL descendents of former IMMIGRANTS who were granted Malaysian citizenship in early 1950s are trying hard to ‘re-write history’, including trying to paint a picture that the forefathers of Malays were from Indonesia, and that the real ‘bumiputra’ of Malaysia are the ORANG ASLI.

Those with such belief do not realize that the modern nation of Indonesia was part of the MALAY ARCHIPELAGO.  When the Malay(Hindu) Kingdom of Langkasuka reigned supreme between 2nd-5th AD, the whole of Malay Archipelago was then subservient to the rulers of Langkasuka. When the Malay(Hindu) Kingdom of Srivijaya centred in Palembang, Sumatra took over the supremacy  in 5th-12th centuries, the whole of Tanah Melayu became part of theKingdom. And when the Malay Sultanate of Malacca took over the reign in 13th-15th centuries, most parts of Sumatra were under Malacca.

Lets take the case of the Sumatra Island, which is seperated from West Malaysia, formerly known as Persekutuan Tanah Melayu, by the narrow Straits of Malacca. During the Langkasuka era, Sumatra was part of the Malay Kingdom, like the rest of the Malay Archipelago. And when Sumatra became the home of the Sriwijaya Kingdom, Tanah Melayu became subservient to the Palembang-centred Malay Kingdom. In the same way, Tanah Melayu were related to other Indonesian islands like Kalimantan(which used to be under the Malay Sultanate of brunei), and Sulawesi, and Philipine islands of Mindanao and Sulu, and the Malay-majority enclaves of southern Thailand.

Tanah Melayu and other parts of the MALAY ARCHIPELAGO are very much like GREATER CHINA which brings together Mainland China, Manchuria, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. We seldom, if not never, heard people using terms like Chinese migrated to Taiwan, or Honkies migrated to China, or Manchurians migrated to China, as all of them are Chinese, while Mainland China, Manchuria, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau are PART AND PARCEL of what the Europeans term as ‘GREATER CHINA’.

Its a fact that there are Malays whose forefathers were from neighbouring islands within the Malay Archipelago, like Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi in Indonesia, islands of Mindanau and Sulu in the Philipines, and frfom the malay-majority enclaves of southern Thailand. However, the majoriry of Malays are INDIGENOUS to this Tanah Melayu. The  forefathers of INDIGENOUS Malays in Tanah Melayu were part of the INDIGENOUS ethnicities which are now called the  ‘Orang Asli’ . The term ‘Orang Asli’ is quite recent origin. Previously, the ‘Orang Asli’ were known identified under sub-ethnic groups of as Negritos, Senoi and ‘proto-Malays’. Unlike the the Negritos and the Senois who led ‘normadic’ life in the jungles of Tanah melayu, the ‘proto-Malays’ Orang Asli settled closer to river-mouths and the sea. They were the fore-fathers of Malays who settled down in settlements like Kuala Selangor, Kelang, Kuala Muda, Kota Bharu, Pekan and other such settlements were more exposed to FOREIGN TRADERS .

Their exposures to foreigners, including inter-racial marriages to foreigners like the Arabs and Indians, and to limited extent the Chinese, have  brought  modernity and advancements to the  ‘proto-Malays’ Orang Asli. They have been transformed into a ‘modern’ Malay race, who were sophbisticated enough to become RULERS of different corners of the Malay Archipelago. Their Negritos and Senois counterparts remained in the jungles and never staked claims to be rulers of the region, hence the MALAY SUPREMACY in the region for thousands of years.

The forefathers of the MALAYS were part of the ‘Orang Asli’ fraternity, and hence their SPECIAL POSITION in our Constitution, alongside the other BUMIPUTRAS.

The Inevitable Exodus Back To UMNO/BN

July 6, 2010

We are now almost mid-way between the 2008 12th GE and the constitutional date-line to hold the 13th GE. Whilst UMNO is seen as SOLID and UNITED, its senior partners in the BN ruling coalition are still consolidating, after periods of turbulance. On the other side of the political divide, DAP and PAS are held together, loosely though, by the  VOLATILE PKR. Growing acceptance and popularity of Najib has already sparked off speculations that the BN may consider snap-GE.

Prior to 2008 GE, 90% of Indians were with BN. Weeks before the polling day, their loyalty to the BN was TEMPORARILY compromised by the FABRICATED rumours of ETHNIC CLEANSING against their community, and alleged SERIAL DEMOLITIONS of the Hindu temples. Only after turning their back on the BN  DID they realize that BOTH were not true, and that they were duped and cheated. Since then, the Indians have drifted back to the BN, and by the latest Merdeka Centre polls, over 70% of Indians are back with the BN.

The drift back to UMNO/BN among the Malays in PKR is a bit slower, but has gained MOMENTUM after the fall of Pakatan’s ‘under the tree’  State Government. With Anwar’s own former KEY PERSONS like Ezam, Zahrain and Zulkifli Nordin are leading the BN-bound EXODUS, it would not be long before PKR will be left with Anwar, Azizah and Azmin(the notorious 3As) and a section of the Chinese, mainly English-educated,  and a pool of Indian lawyers. Its too early to predict whether Khalid Ibrahim may consider calling it a day too with PKR.

The most damaging DISASTER awaiting Pakatan is the eventual parting with PAS. The situation in PAS can be described as RETAK MENANTI BELAH. In the past, PAS managed to ‘pinch’  UMNO Malay supporters with their JIHAD, SYAHID and ENJOIN GOOD AND FORBIDDING EVIL slogans. Since they have abandoned those symbols of Islamic struggle, PAS is finding  it tough to attract new Malay supporters. Even their ‘battle-hardened’  rank-and-file are beginning to question every move made by their leaders They NO LONGER hold to the previously held ‘kami dengar dan kami taat’, meaning ‘we hear and we obey’ discipline.

The issue of DAP  FOR SECULARISM and PAS FOR ISLAMIC STATE will inevitabily split up DAP and PAS in the run up to the 13th GE. PAS leaders , in order to remain relevant to their grass-root supporters and their ISLAMIC STATE ambitions, will be forced to revert back to their original ISLAMIC AGENDA, and  wave BYE BYE to DAP.

The inevitable exodus back to UMNO/BN has begun, and is gaining momentum.
